OUR TRIP FROM SALENTO TO CALI

We were in Salento for three nights.  I stayed in a dorm (a girl dorm of course) and I met some lovely girls, one of them were from Australia and the other was from England.  They both just met in the dorm well we all met each other in the dorm.  Just as they met they decided the most craziest thing ever they wanted to travel to the desert and then just leave.  Not together leave each other for ever.  Well we were on the bus I did the most stupid thing ever there are two tiny holes in the window and I put my finger though it and got it stuck and no one could help me every one was a sleep that I new no one else in the bus knew English, so I pulled and pulled and suddenly my finger came out but with a really sore cut on it.

Then we  arrived in Cali.  Our hostel was the Sun Flower hostel

THE WALKING DAY.

Yesterday we went for a really long walk. (not nice at all) We were supposed to see big coconut trees but we went the wrong way.  We were also supposed to go further if we went the way we were going.  We went too late and the last Jeep going back to town was at 5 pm.  It was 1 pm and doing it going around was about five  hours so we did half of it and  we did not get to see the coconut trees.  After that we got an ice cream and caught a Jeep back to the town and walked home from the town.  We had a wrap for dinner and nothing for lunch just an ice cream and a juice and some chips.

When we were walking back to the house we lost our way and asked some English people the way. They did not know the way either but they knew Spanish so they asked some people that lived here and they gave us the wrong way. We found our own way back to our hostel, La Serrana, without turning left.

ABOUT YESTERDAY.

Yesterday we walked to the parque. (I did not like that at all ) Then we came back here for two hours and did nothing.  Then we walked to the metro (I did not like that either ) and we caught a train to the city to meet the friends we met in Palomino.  We went to dinner with them and saw the city from very high and it was the most beautiful thing we have ever seen in our lives.  Then we went for dinner!  The boys and I had a hot dog and the parents had nothing (they tell me to eat) .  I went for a ice cream and two packets of chips and the parents had alcohol Rum like normal with coke and I had water (bad for me very bad for me) I must have juice.  Then we walked back to the train took the train back and walked into bed.

about yesterday in Cartagena and today in medellin

Okay so you know we are not going to school or home schooled, well we were staying at our Airbnb for longer than we thought we were going to stay. So we arranged to see a friend from the ECO HOSTEL(William) have I told you? I think I have. Well he knows someone and she owned a school. so the boys(Lorne and Jordan) went to school with their father, James, my mom’s boyfriend.  They learnt some Spanish.  Then the next morning(today) we had to get out of the house by nine, the boys were not so keen of doing that so they got up late and packed fast. We got to the airport and we were two hours early so we waited two hours at one food place and ate some croissants.

Then after that we climbed onto the airplane for an hour.  If we took a bus it would be twelve hours (and we did not want to do that).  So we had a very happy flight and then we got off.  While we were getting off the plane we met a man. Carlos (that was very nice indeed it was).  He gave us his address so that we can see him in Salento town.  He was a very nice guy I admit he was, so we caught the bus with him from the airport to San Diego (an area in Medellin). Then we took a taxi to our airbnb, it is very nice here. While we were here we went to the gym and did a work out (well me and the boys did a work out, not the parents).  After that we went to the pool just below the gym while the parents went to the shops and bought things.  They were  suppose to buy me an avocado so that I could dip my nachos, but there were sadly no ripe avo’s .

Cartagena Pics

We were in Cartagena. Mom and I went for a horse and carriage ride together around Cartagena. Then we went for some dinner at a nice love, sushi restaurant and we had a lot of sushi(well I had a lot of sushi). Our kind of sushi was salmon maki rolls. ‘Then I went home and, ”in to bed!!!!!!!”

We were at Gato Negro restaurant.  I was bored, so I got out my phone.  I wanted to take a photo and I saw an interesting man selling fruits.  I found him interesting because he was sorting his many fruits out(and I have never seen that because you do not find a lot of people on the roads selling fruit in South Africa) so I took a lovely photo.

WHERE WE HAVE STAYED THE LAST COUPLE OF NIGHTS

So we were staying in a airbnb like I told you for three nights. we could not get our flight tickets to Medellin for the next day, so our nanny (what I call her) we told her and she said that she would find us another one. To explain,where our airbnb was it was in a complex so she said she was going to find us another airbnb in the complex of airbnb’s. Then we found one and we stayed there for one night and before we left the other one she found us another one but it was too expensive,so we asked the lady at our second airbnb if she could find us another Airbnb. So she found us another airbnb for the same amount as the other one. We decided to take it and we have just moved into it and it is big, bigger than the other one. We are in Cartagena, Colombia.(Just to finish this story with a little touch up) 🙂

HANNAH DAY

We did nothing that is what I call a HANNAH DAY so what is your day oh wait I forgot again it is about my Blog I mean M……Y  BLOG!!!!!! okay so we did nothing I watched TV all day my mom did work all day my brothers were on there phones the whole day and James I have no clue. So, HA HA!!!!!!!!! well we did nothing else other than that oh do you want me to tell you all the movies I watched whats that you said YES!!!!! did I hear okay you said YES!!!!!! so I watched one of my favorite SPY KIDS!!!!!! and then MY LITTLE PONY!!!!!!! and the last one THE LION KING!!!!!! every body likes THE LION KING!!!!!!! and then I had to do Spanish. GOOD BYE SEE YOU TOMORROW 🙂

WHERE WE ARE STAYING AT RIGHT NOW.

So we have just come from the most horrible camp ever do not go there I am telling you now do not go there, really it is horrible. Tyrona National Park is beautiful, but the camp site we stayed in was dirty.  Ask me before you go 😉

Okay now we are at a really nice place (Just it is very expensive) it is called Tiki hut in palomino(you should really go there)(come on give it a shot it is worth it I promise) oh ya how much it was it was about 363 something like that we do not know exactly how much it was because the boys(Lorne and Jordan) were in one room for two nights and then moved into another room that costed much less and we we were not taking track of how much that was but so what that does not matter any more let us move on. so yes I have been wandering how was your holiday? oh wait do not answer that i just forgot it was about my blog but yes I know my blog is getting quiet boring right pardon you no okay I will say more. so were was I so my next hostel was in Minca  and we were staying in casa lloma and we had to carry our big back packs all the way up stairs for ten minutes (it did take us ten minutes because we were carrying our back packs that made us slower but other times it took us about five minutes or so) our next hostel ( you can call it a hotel) it was quiet boring so I will not tell you about that one. and this one (not a hostel or a hotel) an airbnb for three nights and at last I get my own double bed the parents have a double bed privately and the boys get their own  single(they have to share a room) happy days bye:)

Nail, Great Day

On Saturday the 23rd of April. (In the morning of course) I went to my mother and we were watching an art film and we joined them. (Well they wanted us to join them) We were drawing a fish. Mine was terrible on the first day but then it got better and better but i still did not get as good as my mother. Then we had a bit of a snooze then after that we went for a pedicure and a manicure I had a pedicure and my mom went for a manicure. James and the boys (Lorne and Jordan) went river rafting and it was very

Then after that mommy and James went for a beer by them self and when they came back my mom gave me a thing of crayons(and i was so excited my mom told me to pack them away but I did not do it I was so excited) then I started to colour in the picture that I drew.

The first 3 weeks

Hi my name is Hannah and I am nine years old. I am traveling around South America for eight months with my mom my moms boy friend (James)and his two children (Lorne and Jordan).These are all the hostels we have been to(Masaya in Bogota) and (Eco hostel in Gatape) and (Black sheep in Medellin) and we are at (Sams V.I.P hostel in San Gil).

In Masaya it was a big hostel with a lot of friendly people. We had a really good time there. We were sleeping in single beds all in the same room. There are only five of us and we were in a six bed dorm room. There was another person staying with us there and they got very annoyed with us, but we left on the next day that she arrived.

At the Eco Hostel it was like a twenty minute walk to get to town. We could not eat any meat but it was a really nice place. They even had a baby goat you could play with and             snuggle. The boys (Lorne and Jordan)slept upstairs with our ”Spanish teacher” . Me my mom and James slept in a bed room down stairs I was in a single bed in the corner of our room my mom and James slept in the other corner of the room in a Double bed(but we are talking about the smallest bed room you will ever see).

In the black sheep hostel we were all in the same room again and there were six beds again, but who was staying with us was not some stranger it was William. Who we met at the Eco hostel he was staying in the other bed. The black sheep hostel was a really nice hostel it was one of the best hostels we went to.

At the Sams V.I.P Hostel (that we are at now) is the best hostel we have been to. It has a pool, a sauna. James and my mom sleep in there room. Me and the boys have our room that we have to share at least we have our own private Jacuzzi (we are special). We even get to watch movies for free. Bye see you tomorrow. peace.
